A Day At The Castle Park

Nearby we have a great park. A castle, filled with secret passages, knights in trees, trolls, and of course, dragons. A throne room is immediatly to the left of the main entrance, where we sat the kids for a picture. It is a wonderful place. Everywhere you look there is something. A tower that you get to by crossing an uneven bridge, a bell to ring, a painted mural. So much to see, so much to do. It is a great treat for the kids to go there, so I am thankful we live close enough to do it a lot. The kids, and daddy, had a blast running and hiding and exploring. Alta and I mainly watched from the sidelines, but we did explore a bit.

Of course, I can't share the excitement of the day without sharing why the park was built. Jeremy "Boo" Rachman was a boy from the area who died in 93 from a car accident. He was a fan of the game Dungeons & Dragons, so his father built the park in memorial for him.
